“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” Galatians 5:1 We’re getting our heads and our hearts right and lining it all up with our lifestyles—in preparation for Easter. We want to worship with JOY and FREEDOM! I’ve known a lot of people who strive for that kind of joy and freedom and integrity before God—but keep getting swept back into frustration and despair. Old messages keep playing over and over in their heads. Old wounds keep oozing and opening. Shame. Expectations. Bitterness.
