Have you ever received a Christmas gift that you weren’t expecting, but it turned out to be a great gift and one you ended up using throughout the year? Maybe it was some electronic device or a tool. Maybe it was noise cancelling headphones where you could block out all the noise around you!
We're in Galatians 4:4-7, which may not be a passage you typically think of when it comes to the Christmas season. But in this passage Paul speaks about the arrival of Jesus, and a gift that he provides for us – the gift of “adoption to sonship.”
