Sunday, August 1- Gospel Hymn Sing

The local group Canto Chorale is leading us through old gospel songs and hymns. Join us @ 6pm in the Sanctuary.

Sunday, August 8- Next Steps

Looking for a way to get involved? Hoping to learn more about serving in a particular area? Maybe you are new, or maybe you've been coming to FBC for years but you have more avaialbility, or you feel God promtpting you to invest more deeply. This is an opportunity to sit down with the staff and discuss what getting more connected would look like for you personally. We will help you get set up with whatever you feel is the right step for your family. Lunch and kid activities are provided at 12:15pm in the lower lobby. Sign up here.

Friday, August 13- End of Summer Celebration

We are FINALLY having our party in the parking lot with the food and the inflatables we had to cancel at VBS (and before that, our Homecoming Event). All ages are invited @ 6:30pm for one last hoo-rah before summer ends. Outdoor movie and popcorn bar begins at dusk.

Sunday, August 15- Promotion Sunday

Kids ages 4 years through 12th grade who are eligible to promote up can be dropped off at their new classrooms. Teachers will introduce themselves to their incoming students on Sunday, August 8th. Incoming 5th graders will move down to the student hallway and no longer need checked out by a parent, so be sure to plan where you will meet after class! Incoming 5th graders are invited to join the pre-teen youth group that evening, and incoming 7th graders move up to our Student Ministry group with Ethan.

Friday, August 20th- Men's Conference

Our Men's Conference simulcast begins with dinner @ 5:30pm. Tickets can be purchased online. Teens can attend at no cost. Contact Ethan to sign up students.

Saturday, August 21- GriefShare begins

GriefShare is a small group for anyone in the community who has lost a loved one with videos from grief counselors and discussion. This group meets weekly on Saturday mornings from 9:30-11:30am. Learn more and sign up online.

Sunday, August 22- School Prayer Walk

Community prayer time with other churches for our students as they begin a new school year. Meet at the PCHS entrance @ 7pm. Students ages 5th-12th can meet at DQ @ 6:30, with Ultimate Frisbee for grades 7-12 after the prayer walk.
