Set Your Heart

Since you've been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above... Colossians 3:1

I want my heart to be right. I want my mind to be focused. But much of my actual experience is of a heart that's fickle and a mind that wanders. I ask God sometimes to fix my heart and settle my mind, but He keeps telling me that's my job. We're practicing the art of fixing our eyes on Jesus-- in hopes of setting our hearts and focusing our minds.

Sit with Colossians 3:1-4. There's a line that says "when Christ appears we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is." (1 John 3:2) Maybe we can get a taste of that now.
