Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.
1 Peter 3:15.
Over the last few weeks we’ve been considering our own stories and how we can share the hope that we have in Jesus. But not only are we to share the hope that we have, Peter indicates that we need to be prepared – we need to do some prep work before we share our story. Because we’ve all been there, right? We get asked to share our story and we fumble around and are all over the place. We’re not as clear as we wanted to be about what Jesus has done in our lives.
We are going to look at the personal encounter that a man named Cleopas and his friend had with the risen Lord Jesus found in Luke 24:13-35. And as we learn from their encounter, it will help us in the development of our story, that we too will be able to share and point people to the hope that we have in Christ!
Hope to see you in-person (with masks) this Sunday at 9:30am and 11am. The message will also be available online at 9:30am.
I've attached a handout we'll be providing on Sunday morning that will help you develop your story.
